MASTER CLASSES
Master Classes provide state of the art training and networking opportunities in order to expand Israeli skills and knowledge while building a foundation of personalized professional industry connections.

The Master Class series was launched in 2019 with Butch Hartman (20 years Nickelodeon), creator of hit shows including Fairly Odd Parents, Bunsen is a Beast, TUFF Puppy and Danny Phantom. Butch leveraged his decades long success to introduce attendees to the ins and outs of show creation. This was produced with support from the Animation Union, the Israeli Writers Guild and Makor Foundation.

In 2022, Andrew Sabiston, show runner, story editor and original IP creator, came to Israel as special guest for Animation Israel's IP Development Master Class. This class took participants through a step by step approach to creating a professional Pitch Deck in order to market and sell their shows. Course included 1 on 1 feedback on attendees' original show ideas and was produced with support of the Israeli Writers Guild.

LECTURES & NETWORKING

Shorter format than Master Classes, Animation Israel provides video-based lectures and networking programs.
Programming has included a How to Pitch four part overview series featuring industry leaders Carolyn Hay (Ranger Rob, Ruby Gloom), Andrew Sabiston (Paw Patrol, Super Wings) and John Dusenberry (Warner Bros),
produced in partnership with CoPro.
A networking series was produced, in partnership with Makor Foundation, focusing on when in the process to pitch a project, as well as which studios and broadcasters are interested in which kinds of content. These highly attended Meet the Buyers sessions featured executives from Disney Junior (USA), Disney TV Animation (USA), Shaftesbury (Canada) and WildBrain (UK).
